Belle Meade is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in the Sandhills area of North Carolina. As a CCRC community, we are committed to providing the finest housing, hospitality and health care services for our residents. Belle Meade offers a wide array of spacious cottages, homes and apartments along with a grand clubhouse in a beautifully landscaped, gated resort community.

The community is owned and operated by St. Joseph of the Pines. St. Joseph of the Pines is sponsored by the Sisters of Providence and is part of Catholic Health East, Inc., a multi-institutional, Catholic health system serving 11 eastern states from Maine to Florida. St. Joseph of the Pines, Inc. is a non-profit, faith-based organization governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees. The Board establishes the vision, mission and values and provides financial and operational oversight for the organization and its subsidiaries.

As with most not-for-profit retirement communities, residents pay a one-time Entrance Fee, then a Monthly Fee upon moving into the community. The Entrance Fee provides use of the residence and common areas and provides for their future long-term health care needs within the community. A portion of both the Entrance Fee and Monthly Fee may be deducted for tax purposes. The Entrance Fee and Monthly Fee vary based on the size of residence chosen.

Both the Entrance Fee and Monthly Fee are reviewed annually by the Board of Trustees and management and will be adjusted based on actual operating costs and sound financial practices.
