Maintenance Technician

 

The primary function of the Maintenance Technician is to maintain the building, grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Replace burned out light bulbs in all areas of the facility.
  • Make daily rounds of all buildings. Note all deficiencies and once and make necessary repairs.
  • Repair and maintain all facility owned emergency equipment so that it may be operated and used in a safe and efficient manner. Keep weekly logs of all inspections and repairs.
  • Service heating and cooling units according to manufacturer guidelines and facility policies and procedures.
  • Make necessary repairs to washers, dryers, stoves, heating and air units, etc.
  • Maintain all maintenance equipment; tools, carts, barrels, wheelchairs, Geri chairs, etc. as requested.
  • Assist in moving materials, supplies, equipment, etc. as directed.
  • Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor immediately and on the shift in which they occur.
  • Complete all work orders generated in a timely and efficient manner.

Providence Place - Robbins

HUD Property Manager

Providence Place, an affordable senior housing community in Aberdeen sponsored by St. Joseph of the Pines, is currently recruiting for a HUD Property Manager. The Property Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the property in an efficient manner including processing move-ins, re-certifications, inspections and processing work orders. Candidates should have at least 2-3 years experience in related field, preferably with senior citizens and/or the disabled. Knowledge of HUD rules and regulations and NC tenant/landlord rules and regulations preferred. Successful candidates will have excellent organization and interpersonal skills, and the knowledge and ability necessary to deliver the level of service required for our residents.

Belle Meade Food and Beverage Director

Reporting to the Director of Resident Services, the Food and Beverage Director will oversee and manage the daily food and beverage operations at Belle Meade and the Coventry, our retirement resort and assisted living facilities. The Food and Beverage Director will be responsible for policy implementation, menu planning, complaint resolution and effective department leadership. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, and at least three years food service experience, with at least one year experience at the management level is required. Excellent time-management, interpersonal and computer skills are required. Candidates must have the drive and desire to creatively lead and challenge their workforce to better serve our resident population.
