St. Joseph of the Pines, located in beautiful Southern Pines, North Carolina, offers a full aging service network of life plan communities, health care and home- and community-based services for seniors – along with community outreach to support those in need.
We’ve been dedicated to the legacy of the Sisters of Providence for over 70 years, dating back to 1948 when the Diocese of Raleigh opened St. Joseph of the Pines Hospital. We are now one of the largest employers in Moore County with 780 team members. We recognize that each of our colleagues is vital to the success of our mission, and ensuring they have a safe and just workplace is important to us.
St. Joseph of the Pines is about people – those whom we serve as well those with whom we serve. Everyone here is keenly aware that we have been entrusted to carry on the legacy. It is the pillar on which our values are built and provides the framework for all that we do.
We, St. Joseph of the Pines and Trinity Health, serve together in the spirit of the Gospel as a compassionate and transforming healing presence within our communities.
We honor the sacredness and dignity of every person.
